How Much Does Bookkeeping Cost?
There are two ways you can pay for bookkeeping with Bijou Collective.
The first option is to pay a flat rate of $50 per hour, invoiced once per month based on actual number of bookkeeping hours worked. The smaller your organization or business is, the more likely it is that this option will be the best fit for you.
The smallest organizations and businesses, with a simple set of recurring transactions, may only require 3-4 hours of bookkeeping per month. If that is you, then anticipate spending $150-$200 a month once your ledger is set up and your books are up to date.
The second option is to purchase a Virtual Assistance: Specialist Package, which can bring your hourly rate down to as low as $40 per hour, depending on which package you select.
Wondering if a monthly package makes the most sense for you? Ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I currently far behind on my books or concerned that past transactions have not been categorized correctly?
- Does my business have a high volume of monthly transactions or many people on payroll?
- Are my transactions complicated (such as earmarked donations or a wide variety of retail sales)?
- Am I going to need support with accounts receivable follow-up or with filing state and local sales tax?
- Do I also need support with the other activities described in the Virtual Assistance: Specialist Package?
The more "yes" answers you gave, the more likely it is that you will save money with a monthly package.
