Amanda Guerassio has been playing in Photoshop since middle school, and (more formally) received her BFA in Graphic Design in 2006. She has been working as a designer ever since, creating everything from logos to book covers to billboards to invitations. It’s a rare day when she doesn’t have at least two of the Adobe Suite programs open at once. Amanda is equally comfortable creating designs for web or print, and her happy place is building a visual brand from the ground up.
Amanda grew up as an army brat and moved around quite a bit. Eventually fate brought her down to Austin, Texas after college, and her love of independence took her into freelancing – a natural segue into joining Bijou Collective. These days, Amanda resides in Round Rock (a northern suburb of Austin) with her husband, one-year-old daughter, and dog. When she is not busy creating gorgeous designs for clients, you can find her dabbling in screen printing, blogging and photography – or with her nose in a book! Amanda is also an avid traveler, an amateur cook, and an unrepentant introvert (emails > phone calls!). A few of her favorite things: physical books, fuzzy socks, the color purple, and moscato.
